CONTENTS OF EXPORT ADVICE NOTE

 

158. The export advice note shall bear the Customs official seal of the port, or aerodrome which issued the same, and be signed by the proper customs officer, and contain the following particulars:-

 

(a)  the customs port, or aerodrome, which issued the same, and the port, or aerodrome to which the goods entered thereon are consigned;

 

(b)  the name of the vessel, or the calling of the aircraft in which goods are loaded;

 

(c) description and type of the goods entered thereon, and the number of packages with the numbers, marks, weight and measure thereof;

 

(d)  the amount of export duty, deposited as a deposit, or security therefore;

 

(e) the date of issue thereof;.

 

(f)   the value of goods (F.O.B) on board the vessel, or aircraft at the customs port, or aerodrome for export;

 

(g)  the period fixed for producing the acknowledgement of delivery of the goods, at the intended customs port, or aerodrome, to be attested by the competent customs authority, at such custom port, or aerodrome, whether by the issue of the export notice, or under a separate document, to be produced to the customs station which issued to same.
